Bali Story .....Ver 7

Last day in Bali was pretty much nothing. Being the flight scheduled to board at 1.30, we need to be at the airport at least 2 or 3 hours earlier. But I could sense my friend macam dah xnak tinggalkan Bali. Macam nak delay g ke airport. HAhah. More on that later.

5.00 am- Hotel

The earliest time I woke up in Bali. Member tidoq g as usual. Dah solat, aku terus naik atas bawak kamera. Yes, sunrise time. I remember Pak Ali(Bali tour guide) mentioned if you want to see sunset, go to Uluwatu or Tanah Lot. But if you want to see sunrise, go to Nusa Dua. Lucky for us our hotel was in Nusa Dua so to view you just have to step out of the room. Plus, we’re located on a hill so the view was even better. Tapi kamera ni wat kacau. Time ni gak nak abeh. Ade. However I was still managed to snap a few sunrises’ pictures.

8.00 – Kill time at the hotel

Time ni aku breakfast sakan kunun the last breakfast kat Bali. Resepi setiap ari sama jek. So aku makan soto. Nyum2. Memang aku buh banyak cabai hence nak tebakar mulut. Kehkeh. Suka makan pedas tapi x taan pedas. Mmmmm.

Pas abeh breakfast and lepak-lepak, we decided to swim kat the pool. Initially we swam at the rooftop infinity pool but then my friend macam bored je we went ground floor punya pool lak. BAgi aku sama je but the rooftop was much better because the view, pergkh..But to play around elok kat pool bawah ler. Just check the pictures how we had during our last minute time spent in Bali.

Being I am like the manager of our trip, aku decided nak leave the hotel at exactly 12. Meaning check out at 11.30 or so . Tapi my friend ni cam xnak tinggalkan hotel secepat mungkin. Macam nak leave the room exactly at 12 while I wanted to arrange our airport pickup 15 minutes pass 12. Yes, it seems rushed and my friend questioned my decision. Giler ah. Kang kena tinggal plane ngan kaunter airasia yang tutup 45 min before boarding time wit airport pickup and traffic kadang-kadang tak menentu, mestila kena left the hotel ASAP. Kalo dah lepas checkin flight nak ilek2 kat airport xpelah. Huhuh. By the way, check out the oleh2 I bought for home.

After boarded and the 3 hours flight, sampailah kami kat KL. Huaaa…But on the flight, aku syok kat one stewardess neh. Hot giler. So sempat la aku paparazzi jap. Tapi terlupa nak tutup flash. Terkontang-kanting aku terkantoian.SNAP!!Ahaha. Pasal nak try, we decided to took ERL balik umah from the airport. Heheh. Laju bebenor bende jadah ni.Pas balik apa lagi. Check out balik sume oleh2 yang dibeli kat Bali. Banyak perabih duit kat ole2 but happy to give out. Heheh. Check the pictures out.

Bali Story....Ver 6

The Bali journey continues...


3.45 - Pantai Kuta
After cooled down inside the soping mall, not wasting time and straightaway went to the nearby Kuta Beach. By the way, area sini memang happening. Ade banyak restoran, boutiques, hotel and a lot more. By the way, Pantai Kuta ni dah dibina tembok between the beach and the beach road reason being to protect the sand from going into the road. Bahaya. Kami nak tergelincir dah when motor terlalu atas pasir. So turun ler kami nak berpoto-potoan. Kami behenti betul-betul depan Hard Rock Cafe. From the look of it, Kuta Beach time tu boleh mandi and ombak x sebesar sangat. Several people were surfing while others just playing with the wave. Seems fun. Unfortunate for us, tengok je bleh. Kat pantai tu, i came up with the idea of going to Tanah Lot, Another major attraction in Bali.

5.45 - Tanah Lot
From Kuta, it took us about an hour to Tanah Lot by motorbike. Agak konpius gak la jalan nak g sana since signboard slalu hilang separa jalan. Sekejap ade Tanah Lot, skjap xde Tanah Lot. Tu yang lagi sesat tu. AKhirnya tanya kat mas petrol station, mas kedai 24 jam, kami basically dah tau arah mana. Tengah perjalanan tu kami stop beli miyak petrol dalam botol. FYI, kat BAli ni banyak kedai jual minyak dalam botol so don't worry kalo kehabisan minyak. Tapi cukup untuk motor ajelah.Heheh. KAmi also stopped by kat sawah which to me sangat cantik. Sawah kat sana jenis sawah bukit so they're awesome. Setelah jauh perjalanan, akhirnya sampai gak kami kat Tanah Lot. Kat sini dipasang Hinduism chant on the speaker. By the time kitarang sampai, it's time fr sunset already. Nak g ke pantai tu kena lalu kedai-kedai macam kat area Padang Besar. Lotsa shop sold the oleh-oleh. Cheaper some more. A lot mre cheaper than in Kuta or the place we went during the afternoon. Kitarang sampai air tengah surut so kitarang leh le g temple tengah laut tu. Tapi x masuk pon since macam kena bayar. AFter got a lot f our picture taken, kitaorg naik atas and minum-minum kat restoran kat situ overlooking the ocean and the temple. Lawa seyh.Memang another spot for honeymooner wa cakap sama lo..Aku beli coke jek. Alcohol beverages also sold along with cocorum(COCONUT+RUM). Dah gelap tu kami pon beransur nak balik. We stopped by kat one shop. Aku beli another same quality shirt which was 10k cheaper than in Kuta. Rugi-rugi! Next time definitely must buy in Tanah Lot. Preeeet. So off we left Tanah Lot. Bye2!

8.00 - Sesat Point
Serious weyh. Kitaorang sesat ntah ke mana-mana. Kunun xnak lalu kuta and nak g Nusa Dua terus lalu Denpasar tapi terlilau ke daerah mana kitaorang xtau. And signboard to Kuta was nowhere to be seen. So i did what i usually do. Just went with the most traffic flow. Big mistake. Sesat even further. But member was cool. He told me to calm down and helped me out along the way. Finally, kitaorang sampai Sanur which was familiar to me because we went there for Barong Dance. Tadaaa....Sampai Kuta Road balik. Heheh. Just the perfect ache for MASSAGE...............!!

9.00 - Massage Parlor
Located kat Jalan Kuta-Nusa Dua. I chose this place pasal aku penah nampak from the day before billboard diaorg tulis cheapest in Bali, 60k only. So just the right plus for us yang destinasi bajet neh. Actually kat Bali memang banyak massage parlor and spa so it can get really competitive. Tapi time kitaorg g sana tempat ni memang kosong xde orang. Aku pilih Urut Aromatherapy and member amek Bali massage. The difference, Aromatherapy ade head massage and 15000 much more expensive than Bali massage. Kat sini ade few little house yang each ade 2 massage beds. Kitaorang amek separate room. My masseur left me in the room suruh pakai this small disposable underwear. Macam shwer cap pon ade beropol2. Hahah. Really uncomfortable. Imagine being almost naked on a bed with a stranger touching you all over. Seb baiklah my masseur tu macam mak orang dah. Kurang ler segannya. Hihih. But i was snoozing most of the time. Letih ler. Elok lak orang urut,mana x tidur.Hehe. The only time i woke up when she touched my tuchus. Hahah. Then sambung tidor balik. Abes massage memang mata aku merah ler. Memang dah fall into deep sleep dah tu psl keletihan. Dalam bilik ni shower also provided. Tapi malangnya, sabun mcm x serupa sabun. Buih kurang plus bau pon kurang. Dahler minyak yang dia guna bau ros. Aku paling x suka bau ros ni. Busuk. Aromatherapy my ass. Massage pon so-so jek. Still teringat massage aku kat Krabi which i thought really awesome walaupon painful.

10.00 Makan McDonalds
After berurut and dia bagi complimentary air mineral kecik ( although green tea would be more appropriate), perut kitaorang decided to seek attention. LAPAR!! Where do you go in here at this hour? Aku ingat nak g seafood Jimbaran tapi tengok member yang makin kering duit, g ajelah McD Jimbaran jek. Funny story, member aku order 1 set 12, dia dapat 12 set no 1. Ambek ko kena cas beratus ribu. Tergelak kami nih lost in translation. Just check out the pics of what we got. Yang bestnya kat Bali ni McD diaorang sell set ayam the cheapest compared in Malaysia where it is among the more expensive set. So we got ourselves some chicken.... :)

Bali Story....Ver 5

Another new day in Bali, another post!

Hotel, 5.45 a.m
Terbangun coz rasa macam dikejutkan. I am not kidding. Or maybe pasal aku dah terbiasa bangun time tu nak gi keje everyday. Ntahla. Gelap lagi plus dah memang puas tidor. Kalo nak tau time holiday slalunya aku mesti orang pertama bangun coz aku x suka buang masa atas katil tidor lebih2 .Lainlah honeymon tak klua bilik 36 jam pon xpe.Hahah. After basuh muka, solat, another morning view at the rooftop. Yeahh.What can i say. It's what jumps up my morning. Sunrise :) Check out few pic i snapped.

Hotel - 8.30 a.m
Breakfast!! Bangun weyh breakfasstttt!!!Aku memang terasa lapar. Dah sumbat makan jajan and oreo pon lapar gik. Then off we went to the rooftop for breakfast buffet. Kali ni aku beranikan amek ayam. Als took sup soto which kabom!!! Aku letak banyak sangat kicap berlada. Memang pucat berpeluh ler tak tahan. X kiasahla asalkan puas hati. Slain tu took regulars like pastries and smuggle few pieces of cheddar cheese slices. Hahah.

Hotel-10 a.m.
Pool time. Gigih nak mandi ni walaupon breakfast tak abeh digest gik. Heheh. This day, kitaorang nak mandi kat pool bawah plak. Although view so-so cmpared to the rooftop pool, it was bigger and looked so much fun. Check out the pics. Sini nothing much happened except i swam few laps, made a few dives and awesome cannonballs. Haiyarrr!!!

Kanak-kanak toksah dibiar mandi berseorangan. Kalo dak macam ni jadinya. Separuh akal dah mandi kolam pasal excited tahap Ribena. :P

Toko Ole2 - 12 p.m
Decide to rent a bike tuk gi jalan-jalan after puas mandi swimming pool and also need to do sightseeing of our own after the plan to watch dolphin canceled. Tapi the day was crazy hot. Even wearing sunblock didn't help. Panas membahang so aku speed bawak motor tu. Member kat belakang rupanya gayat gak. Hahah. So first stop, oleh-oleh shop. First we went to toko near the place we went during our first day tu. Sini dahler xde aircond, mahal lak tu. Aku only bought a couple of key-chains kat sini. The only good thing here was a huge man's part outside, Hahah.Snap-snap. Sorry aku malas sensor. Cover your eyes ladies :P After that pergilah toko lagi satu yang we went tu. KAt sini den memang borng. Check ut few pics of the ole2 i bought. Sampai aku ngeas kat kedit kad gik. Srap,srap. Mastercard uruskan. Ahaks.. Lama gak ler kat sini and x menang tangan nak bawak so direct balik hotel tuk letak barang and solat sekali. Plus nak tunggu redup sikit coz memang panas membahang giler. Preview of hell in a paradise. Huhu.

Discovery Mall, Jalan Kartika, Kuta - 2.30
Kami masuk mall ni coz lapor is one thing, panas nak mampos was another. So seriously needed AC. Rupanya kat sini pon ade Sogo. Tapi mahal ler barang2 nak soping sini. Macam harga kat Malaysia jek.Dua kali lima. Even saw Rotiboy. Heheh. Tapi x berkenan nak makan yang manis2 ni. Looking for something more savory. Carik-carik McD, terjumpa Pizza Hut. So just settle. Gelap ya amat Pizza Hut ni. Kedekut nak bukak lampu kot. So kami order individual pizza and drinks. Drink aku x sedap. Rasa bandung yang manis sangat. By the way, mall ni terletak right next to the Kuta Beach. So kitaorg sempat snap picture kat the beach.

Discovery Shopping Mall. Architecture huduh giler tapi rasanya nilah soping center paling grand kat Bali.

Tapi soping center ni betul-betul ngadap this Pantai Kuta. Awesome eh...?

Serious gua cakap the heat really killed me ngan keletihan bawak motor di jalan penuh mencabar kat Bali. Kepenatan pon still mampu tersenyum. Holiday toksah tensen2. Hihi.

Supposedly pengubat kehausan and kepenatan. Ingatkan rasa macam soda gembira tapi more like minum bandung pekat yang manis x ingat. Tambah haus adelah..Nyesal pilih air pink tu kat Pizza Hut.

Bali Story......ver 4

Orait. Ver ke 4 pulak tapi kitaorang masih di hari kedua di Bali. Kira satu half day in Bali, satu version la since i have a lot of Bali pictures and story to share nih.

2.00 Lunch
After kepenatan mandi laut, right after got into the car aku tidor while on our trip to go to lunch. So aku xtau kat mana we had our lunch. Sedar-sedar dah sampai. But also in south Bali la. It's on our way to go to Dreamland Beach. Restoran ni macam restoran fancy di tengah-tengah kampung. Kat dalam ade aircond, ade waiter pakai seragam n all. Macam amek konsep restoran hotel. That's why time kitaorang masuk just ade few people which all were white guys. Makanan semuanya halal and berkonsep minang. Kat atas ade surau so kitaorang solat dulu. Pastu nak senang kitaorang just makan nasi berlauk for 3 people. Amek ler few lauk. Ikan kembong sekor, rendang dendeng 3 ketul, bergedil 3 ketul,sambal udang dalam mangkuk kecik. Sedap memang sedap.Memang rasa masakan minang macam nenek aku buat. Then tibe2 dia bawak individual fruit salad. X order pon. Member aku ingatkan complimentary. Hahah. Peredah ajela. Dapat bil amek ko. Dalam 140k kot.Dekat RM50 tu. Memang mahal la. Air pon dia cas mahal wor. Memang aku rasa diaorang ni untung kebas duit pelancong-pelancong jek.Huhu. No wonder empty. Nasib baik sedap. Terubat ler sikit hati yang x puas hati tu.

3.00 - Dreamland Beach

Sini much like kat Nusa Dua was a private and planned township. Tapi a little bit like terbengkalai. Maybe the fact yang it's a bit far from Kuta. It also lacked originality coz tried to call itself New Kuta. Mmm..Dalam ni banyak banglo tengah buat and also hotel yang macam terbengkalai. Because ade aktiviti korek pantai kat situ time tu plus weather yang x berapa baik, air kat situ x sebiru dalam gambar. Supposedly area situ the beach look like Orange County kat California.Kiranya it wasn't nice for us. Sampai sana, took a few pictures tetibe hujan plak. Berteduhla kami kat restoran kat situ for about half an hour. Dah abeh ujan behenti, sempat gak la aku beli aiskrim kat brother friendly tu and sembang jap. Then kitaorang blah from there since nthing interesting. 'Failure' point kat sini, batery enset dah mampos. So sedaya upaya kitaorang reserve the battery only when it necessary. huhu

Sebijik tak macam dekat range Orange County? Hehe

Tapi malangnya pantai dicemari by this bulky fellow.

4.30 - Padang-padang Beach
This beach was fairly new to me. I mean before i ever went to Bali, i never heard anything about this beach. I heard about Kuta, Nusa Dua, Dreamland, Sanur and Lovina in Bali but not this beach. Sampai sini we saw the view was spectacular. There was a high bridge, cliffs, caves and a lot of other nature's wonders. We didn't waste much time. Sampai sini terus made use of our depleting battery on my friend's camera. So it was like run, snap, die,run, snap, die. Pathetic camera we had. Huhu. Kat sini i thought air tengah surut and ombak pon kecik. So sesuai untuk mandi la although we didn't coz swimming there wasn't in ur planned plus the beach was full f green weeds. Not sure that is comfortable to swim in but it did make a great picture perfect view. It was like grass on the beach and how often do you see that. Another run, snap,die, run,snap, die..We chilled in here quite a while because of the long stretch of the beach with a lot of caves and rocks to excite us. Check out the pictures and you know what i mean. On our exit, we saw bunch of white hot girls were about to shoot a music video. Probably some shitty girl band producing a sappy and tampon-advertisement-like music video. By the way, kat sini maybe also anther great spt to see the sunset hence banyak viewpoints and ade kecak dance show also. But that's not the place for us. We wanted to go to Uluwatu for that. And off we left Padang-Padang although tour guide said need to skip a beach in our itinerary because we're late for sunset already.

5.30 -Uluwatu

Actually this place is quite near the padang-padang beach. nly about 10 minutes drive from Padang-padang beach. While we were on the road, i saw 3 local men mandi bogel kat tepi jalan i kid you not. Actually aku x prasan at first but then 1 bike with 2 white men riding their bike and looking at the nude fellow, aku pon teralih pandangan kat diaorang. Weird scene. Sorry no pictures.Hahah. And then sampailah kat Uluwatu. Nak singgah toilet jap.Kena bayar 1k entry, OMG.Horror gila tandas. Seriously one of the most horror toilet i've been to aside from port dickson and my primary school. Huhu.Also no picture although I'm dying to get it posted to show how horrifying the toilet was. After that, proceeded to te entrance, kena byr some small amount of entrance fee which i forgot. Probably 5000IDR. Ntahla.Because i was wearing bermuda shorts, had to wear one of their sarong. My friend with long jeans on the other hand just had to tie his belt with a scarf. We warned about the mokeys here which grabs your belongings like spectacles, camera or anything small. Some even had their passport stolen by the monkeys.Hmm. But in our case, they didn't bother us. There were a lot of Japanese tourists. I heard a lot of 'sughoi...!' here and there. Yeah. The view in there was sughoi alright. By the time we were there the sun was about to set. Sini cliff dia sungguh tinggi and aku beranikan diri gak nak amek gambar tp how unfortunate, time ni kamera already kapput totally. So gunalah enset member aku yang just berkualiti VGA. Back home dapat tau sia2 je amek gambor since henset dia bluetooth and kabel pon x wujud.Hmmm. Pastu jumpa nyonya pelancong dari Malaysia sembang sikit-sikit. Hehe. And then ade pelancong Jepun bikin panik coz jatuh. Nasib baik tak jatuh kat gaung tapi hampir-hampir la..So there were a lot of 'Daijobu??' gak...hahah.

By this time orang dah berebut-rebut nak beli tiket show Kecak Dance. Funny story after a disappointing and crappy Barong Show, we planned to reconsider watching Kecak. However after saw the magnificent Uluwatu backdrop as the stage for the show plus cheaper entrance fee than BArong, i guess why not. Beli tiket terus aku tekejar nak amek a good spot for both sunset and the show.Kesian member aku yang asek kena follow aku tekejar2 sini sana camtu. I guess while we travel tu time is money actually. Nak tidor puas2, nak jalan lambat2, nak duduk2 i think u can do all that at home. Just my opinion. Tengok2 berkat cepat dapat tempat duduk ok. Right after sunset, the show started with all these shirtless men chanted cak,cak,cak. Sounds so harmonic. Apparently it was a story of Hindu's Ramayana. I rate this show a world class! Most awesome when the white monkey played with fire. I could hear a lot of 'Sughoi' during this time as well.Hahha. After habes kitaorang directly went to the avanza tuk our final stop for the day, seafood at Jimbaran.

Berebut-rebut rang nak tengok Kecak Dance. Done at open air stage overlooking the Indian Ocean and sunset.

Kecak dance was 10 times better than Barong Dance.

8.00 Jimbaran
Lepas dari Uluwatu memang direct aku tidor dalam keta. I guess this is the only time i thought i can rest tanpa tekejar2.Heheh. Sampai dah kat Jimbaran. In here there were a lot of seaside restaurant.Sampai2 macam your typical fancy seafood restaurant. Kitarang pilih the spot kat luar. Pakcik Ali however decided n0t to join. Probably takut kitaorang kena belanja dia makanan mahal-mahal. Mhmmm. From what i thought, the price was okay for the seafood selectin compared t Malaysia so please, don't be too stingy with your money here. It's the only time you can pamper yourselves with seafood without a shocking bill at the counter like in Malaysia. Here the price were all stated in the menu/ seafood current price unlike in Malaysia where they tend to hide the price. Being a 'non-seafood-eater-coz-i-have-gout' guy, i ordered grilled chicken set while my friend ordered shrimps. Set semua tu came with rice, dips and sayur campur. Kira macam set ayam penyet tu. Initially member nak order lobster tapi mahal sikit from shrimps which he ended up regretting it coz the price (f lobster) was considered cheap compared to Malaysia. Be honest, where you can taste a lobster with that price. Huhu. Makanan sini memang tiptop with the view and the ambiance was romantic. Not for us though. We only got to enjoy other's having romance. This couple beside us, the Japanese which the guy look exactly like a famous Japanese actor even kena 'serang' by a group of musical guys.Diaorang nyanyi lagu Beatles and 'aishteru'. HIhih. Best giler. Kat sini also ade cultural show Legong dance. Memang happening sangat dinner kat sini. Plus we could see the ocean and the planes went up and down in the airport nearby. Felt like dont want to leave and the perfect spot to chill after a long and tiring day. Bayar bill, harga sama macam makan kat Restoran Minang tengahari tadi which i thought very affordable with the service we got. Sedap plak tu.


10.00 - Hotel
Sampai dah hotel. Before that we stopped buy kat 24 hours shop and aku beli jajan. Member aku beli air botol gedabak coz geli minum air kat Bali which apparently berkeladak sikit. Because we're too tired and overspent, we had to cancel our following trip the next day at 3.00 am nak tengok dolphin. Sedih coz really looking forward to it tapi apa leh wat. Next time la.Sampai bilik, sembahyang sume, terus memasing tertidor. ZZZZzzzz.
