Hari Merdeka Malang Running with the Damn Cold

Another sore throat, another new post! Hukhuk

Here i am feeling unwell after carefully planned my schedule leading to Hari Raya. I swore to God if anything like this happen, i would just walk it out je coz i was not about to walk over my whole plan just because of some sissy sickness. Haha. However, still hate 'em,the fever. Ceh, macam bahasa novel 'To Kill a Mockingbird' plak. Heheh. Now running with sore throat that makes my voice a bit sexier and runny nose yg kacau my taste sensation. Argkhhh. Petang ni lak ada reunion ngan budak AI dulu. Sedihnya.Dah lama aku plan uruskan bende ni tengok2 jadi camni x berapa nak excite ler plak nak g.But still pegi lah kan. Once a year.

Tengahari ni jugak dah plan nak g jalan-jalan soping kat KL ngan member. So haruslah gagahkan diri jugak gi. To think of it, memang xde masa lain dah nak soping2 unless after work. Tapi sape rajen nak soping after berbuka ni? Not me! Dah ler Jalan TAR mlm2 sesak ya amat. No way ler. Aku pon dah terikut cakap awek yang x suka crowd yang bersesak panas2 macam tu. To think of it aku pon x suka situation sesak camtu. Ingat lagi g sana with my ex tgh2 malam. Aku sesak nafas sampai nak balik. Not my kind of crowd la. Kitaorg pon xde nak beli apa so what a waste.Yelah, nak stop by kat depan booth tuk pilih barang pon xde ruang. Tapi itu cite lama. So i am not about to go to Jalan TAR again time malam and be as it may, without my girlfriend. Kang kena snatch ke, kena tolak2 in the crowd ke, and God forbid kena raba2, kesian my Sayang lak.Huhu.

So hopefully, all the plans goes smoothly today. Look forward to each of the activities. Esok sampai Jumaat plak aku ade training kat Bukit Jalil. Also been looking forward to it. Harap2 demam dah jebah by tomorrow coz from what i heard, the training centre tu cold giler.GRRRRR. Teruklah aku yang demam ni.Huhuhu

Selesema oo selesema

Another damn cold, another post!!

Dang it!! Nak demam lagi. Currently tengah struggle dengan hidung tersumbat and runny nose. Argkhh. Started when woke up this morning. Don’t know why. Nothing I know actually lead to this. Xde mandi ujan, xde sape2 demam in the house or the office.

Kalo dah selesema ni teruk actually. Especially dalam aircond kat office ni. Mak aih. Meleleh2 non-stop plus mata pon nak joi skali mengalirkan air mata. Cait!!

When it comes to this, actually I don’t really know how to manage it except for blowing it out or snorted it in when necessary only. Hahah. No medication I ever take. No home remedy. Pretty much nothing I ever do except wait for it to resolve itself out. Actually maybe I should drop by g gym today and use their steam room. I heard good things about how steam room can help when you have a runny nose.

Dah idung tersumbat ni, selera makan and taste buds pon berkurangla. Huhu. Pikir balik actually sekarang senang benar demam. For the last 6,7 months, aku dah demam in each of the month. What happen to my health ni? HUhu. I think vitamin kurang kot since asek pentingkan nasik+meat but forget the essential greens. Huhuh.

My Obsession with Grey's Anatomy

Another new day, another new post!!

Did I ever confess 1 thing I most embarrassed about myself? Aku gila tengok Grey’s Anatomy. Hahah. I mean I obsess with this show. Trust me, not one episode aku x penah tengok. Yelah, Grey’s Anatomy ni cite lembik. Nampak je macam medic show tapi banyak jiwang gak ala2 soap opera. So guys not likely would like this show. The thing is I started watching this show when it was GOOD. It was back then when guys didn’t mind watching it and the hype over this show was at all time high.

Actually this ‘craze’ started since praktikal kat TM Alor Setar dulu. During that time, banyak buang masa tengok Youtube. And actually, that time ler first time I ever heard of Youtube. So I browsed kat most watched videos. Tengok banyak top2 videos pasal Grey’s Anatomy. Out of curiosity, clicked one and video lagu Snow Patrol Chasing Cars. Apparently lagu ni jadi a finale song during that season. And what a season finale it was. The buzz generated from that episode even brought Oprah to do a special episode for Grey’s anatomy. Since then, I’ve been hooked.

Everything about Grey’s Anatomy best. The actors are amazing. The music choices for each of the episode are phenomenal. I feel engaged to each of the characters in this series especially Dr. Bailey. Cuma the series has been slow for its writing lately. But that is okay for me because I’m not watching because nak tengok the relationship between the caharacters. Xde pon aku root for any couple that I like,etc.. But for me it is still good unlike other shows out there. If you look at my IPod, I have a collection up to almost 500 songs from the show alone. Yes, I love their music choices so much. Hate to admit yang this is the only television show i follow ever since Friends said goodbye to us.

Current mood : At the office but my heart at home already. It’s Friday la!!

Tukarlah!!!!

Another new look, another new post!

Hello. To think of it, lama dah blog hamba ni bertapak kat dunia alam maya karen neh. Tengok2 macam dah lemau plak layout blog hamba neh. Ala-ala macam blog orang tua sembang pasal politaik-politaik. I know i am old but why feel that way kan. Heheh.

That was why i decided to transform and metamorph my blog to a younger look. Kira aku ni dah sumbat pelbagai susuk, botox and did a little angioplasty here and there to give it a little youthful look. A credit to the layout designer, i have achieved a look that i always wanted. After Rain effect.

YES! I love everything about post-raining. Just hope i can get the after rain smell as well. HUhu. ANyway, harap-harap u fellow reader love it. Just nak habaq it jek. SayurNara!

Current Mood : Still in pain from headache. Apparently even Uphamol cannot beat this bad ache. Aiyak!!

Atonement

Another review, another post!

Yesterday sembang2 with my new girlfriend ( I am glad saying that,hahah) about books. Then somehow sembang lak pasal movies. Then I brought up Atonement. This movie actually kluar about 2,3 years go but I just bought the vcd (dvd version primitive,hahah) . Not actually just bought. Beli kat Endah Parade kat Sri Petaling time keje kat IMU dulu. Time tu Guardian ade wat sale clearance. Ntah macamana ntah depa boleh jual vcd jugak.Ahaks. Bought at a bargain price. 1 vcd only RM5. So I bought Atonement dengan Seabiscuit. I’ve seen Seabiscuit before so I bought the vcd just for fun. And I bought Atonement just for the curiosity because it said it was nominated for 7 Academy Awards kat cover of the vcd. Must be good I said.

But do not know why, after bought it I never got the chance or the interest to watch it. Simpan buat pekasam only. Then yesterday came and it got me thinking, might as well watch it tonight. I don’t know why but lately if I talk about something with my girlfriend, she directly inspires me to do what she says. It’s weird. But this is not about that so move forward. Haha.

So malam tu aku pasang ler cite Atonement ni. No problem la since my bro yang slalu hogs the tv tu outstation so senang nak lepak depan tv. Firstly, the movie was very slow. Aiyo. Kalo yang softcore tu I bet mesti tido dah or at least meroyan tensen tgk. Somehow, the game changer scene came. After that scene, it all went uphill from there. The musical score was hauntingly appropriate and the acting was superb from all the cast. Love the Tallis character. She’s the center of all character. Her character ignited the interest for me to actually read the book. And yes, I will add this book in my To-Read List even though I’ve watched the movie already.

But there were downsides as well. Two of them. Can someone tell why I have not notice before that Keira Knightley’s boobs are so damn small? Hahah. Don’t get me wrong. She is perfect in this movie but Scarlett Johansson might be a better choice to attract the male audience. Or at least Natalie Portman. Hahah

The two 'major' problem of the movie. Pun very intended.Haha

I give this movie 9 out of 10. Love the ending as well. The ‘did not see that coming moment’ were all over the movie.

To Read List for Two Months

Another boredom, another post!

Adeh. Boringnya hidup tanpa task at work ni. Novel plak dah abeh baca. Asek dok praktis ke hulu and ke hilir but never really got the chance to utilize it with real work. So sad.

Enough about that. Aku pon xmau remain a negative soul and infect my reader with my negative energy. Haha. Yes I’m in distress at work but life move forward in something else. Sekarang ni memang aku kurang gemar buang masa. Even nongkrong depan TV I consider as buang masa. So that’s why saya adopt the new hobby which is reading.

One thing came to mind. What’s next on my reading list? Actually since tak berduit sekarang ni I cannot afford to buy any new novel. Maybe just borrow from my friends. I had my eyes on several books already. Here it goes:

Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird – A friend gonna let me borrow on Thurday. Look forward to it since it is one of the most highly acclaimed novels of all time.

Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy- Saw best buy deal kat Kinokuniya. Two books only cost RM49.90. Must buy immediately after dapat gaji.

Kathryn Stockett’s The Help – One of the best novel in recent year. Must buy and on the list to read in near future.

Randy Pausch’s The Last lecture – A friend recommended this. Not a novel but actually a lecture transcript which supposedly very inspiring. Instead of buying, maybe I go for something economic like borrow from the library. Haha

Cormac Mccarthy’s The Road – Any Mccarthy’s novel would do but I choose to find this book first. Xtau kenape. Maybe for the obvious reason, Pulitzer baby!!

So hopefully I’ll be reading all these books in the next 2 months. I will do the review once I finish each of these. So far, I love my new hobby but I just hope the books don’t cost so damn much.

First Novel dah Abeh Baca Alredi!!

Another day, another post!

Hello. I am back after hasn’t been active lately. Aiyo. Apparently I’ve replaced my therapy from writing a blog to reading. Haha. But I still miss the excitement of writing. So an update. Aku dah perabih my first novel. Not actually the first la but the first after a long time. The last novel I read was The Pearl time SPM literature class dulu.Haha. I still remember the main character name was Juana. Cait.

So further on, not so while ago I posted an entry about how I’m starting a hobby which is reading And I chose The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry to kickstart this ambitious hobby. And boy, how I love reading now. Sekarang ni I visit the book store frequently. Look for books, read a few chapter if can in the store if the book is not wrapped. Heheh. After a week of reading, abes sudah aih..

So I promised the review for The Lace Reader once I finished it so here it goes. I make it short so I wont bore you. Any further, READ IT!! Highly recommended by me. Just a side note, it was also listed on NY Times Bestseller even though the author is fairly unknown. Show you how good the book is without the need of an established name.

Review :

Love the Rafferty character. He is the heroic character that comes in flaw. Unfortunately it wasn’t him who saves the day. In fact, he’s wrong most of the time. Heroic loser may I say. That is what made him so human and likeable in the whole chapter. And the journey of Towner a.k.a. Sophya in rekindling her memories and her own self make this book persists a puzzle that all come back in pieces at the end. The whole reading was surrounded by haunting mysteries. And look out for several goose bump moments and twists.
