Iftar : Hotel Armada.

Another Iftar, another recap post!

Salam. Actually saje nak include this buka puasa as one of my thread since this was one of the nicest one i had this year. Even sweeter my friends ajak and nak belanja. All i had to do was book for the place. So HOtel Armada ramadan buffet was our choice. The published price was RM65 which among the cheapest hotel buffet around Klang Valley so we thought, why not gave a try. Plus it was just located next door to the office. Another close hotel was PJ Hilton
but with being 5 star and all,over RM100.TErlampau mahal lah.

So aku booked la for 3. Cannot ajak ramai2 lah since orang nak belanja kan. Actually bukan aku mintak belanja. Diaorg ajak and then i said, kena g another day coz gaji x masuk lg. But they didnt mind kata nak belanja, one who was broke couldn't pass the offer la.Hahah.Tapi leceh jugak carik no telefon restoran hotel ni. Last-last call the front desk Hotel je tuk book.

For it just next door to the office, pukul 7 camtu baru kami gerak. We were placed near the pastries section and menghjung kat area dapur tu. But next to the huge window menghadap federal highway so for me kinda nice. Plus, it was a non-smoking section so good enough for me. Hate it kalo orang merokok kalo aku nak makan ni. Rasa nak sumbat rokok tu dalam mlut depa. Haha. Anti Rokok all the way nih!! ^_^ "|
Before waktu buka masuk, sempat gak ler kami amek pastries. The line sume weren't that long so baguslah. At the next table, a family of Chinese dah start mentekedarah while we were patiently waiting and looking at our plates. Hahah. Very insensitive if you ask me but who cares. Then masuk waktu, we ate all of pastries first. Very2 nice pastries and nice looking as well.
What doyou expect from a hotel kan. Presentation mestilah tip-top. A Pakistani friend of mine tried his tapai. Gulp. He said it tasted just like beer. I asked him you ever had beer before and he said yes. I was speechless coz mamat ni kuat sembahyang rasanya. mmm. No komen lah.The only beer i ever had was barican.Yes, taste the same. Got that strong tangy taste in tapai. Tapi they were really strong tapai la.

Then after that, we went solat kat 4th floor.Came back with the revenge.Hahah. Sampai2 masing2 grabbed our plates and amek main course. Aku amek ikan keli and pari bakar kat luar, amek nasik and for the sake of trying, amek oysters.Try oysters, wow. Sedap siyot!Xde rasa hanyir like i thought walaupon x dimasak. FAjin and Farouk however xmau try. Takut.Hahah.Fajin plak tercarik2 sate tapi x jumpa so we assumed dah abes. Rupa-rupanya stall sate terlindung kat belakang pokok so we didn't try it.
Yelah, dah bayor and balik baru perasan. Huhu. Sedih.Kami x sempat makan and rasa semua coz we were full.Tapi sempat gak aku menggatal amek sushi sebelum nak balik. Uwek. Termuntah balik.Not the hotel's fault coz memang aku x suka sushi. Stay sampai kul 9 kat sana pon x dapat perabih rasa semua since perut already full. Overall, very good spread and affordable. The bill came, around RM74 including tax. Kesian and thankful at the same time, i offered my friend to cover the tax coz the tax alone cost around RM25.

Positive:
- Pastries,pastries,pastries. So many choices. The cheesecake was heavenly made!And their puding roti, Fajin love it so damn much dia marah aku amek from his plate and asked me to grab my own. Hogging much?Hahah
- Surau cukup besar.
- Affordable! Even got fresh oysters which i loved!
- Diaorang divide their customer to smoking and non-smoking.
- Makanan sentiasa di top-up by the patrons yang always klua masuk dapur. Kesian tengok diaorg x done makan.
- Makanan terlampau2 banyak sampai x menang perut nak even rasa semua.
- Ice-cream best!Sprinkles included. Tapi klaka tgk my friends mati2 percaya aiskrim keladi tu perasa anggur. Then asked, why lor grape taste like this?hahah. Itu yam la my fellow friends.Hikhik.

Negative:
- Nasik and lauk x best. Ini lauk yang aku remember la. Sayur campur, another type of sayur campur, masak lemak, pedal sambal,ayam masak merah,ikan haruan steam,kari kepala ikan which aku x try coz horror tgk kepala ikan besar.UIKS!! Bagi aku itu semua makanan orang2 tua with the exception of ayam masak merah.Maybe ramai Datuk2 yang makan sini so kena ikut selera diaorg.Hahah.X kena ngan selera aku la.
- Sate and kambing tersorok belakang pokok.Why lor?
- Inside the place was hard to get around coz the table and chair disusun terlampau rapat between each other.
- Walapon got its own designated stall, the teh tarik was not nice. Just so-so.
- Xde entertainment macam kebanyakkan hotel. Maybe diaorg cut cost through this but why not pasang radio,tv or something kan.


Sidenote: Merasa gak berbuka puasa ngan member2 ofis walaupon among ourselves only Indian and Pakistani. Ajak2 yang melayu berbuka skali diaorg cam x interested jek. Kenapa ntah geng2 melayu xmo get together tuk buka sekali. Are we divided? Dunno la.Hope not.


Current mood : Tengah dengar lagu raya Kepulangan Anakku by Aman Shah.. Kalo dengar lagu ni mesti miss my parents. Sejak sebelum puasa x jumpa.HUHUH.Kalo motor ni road tax x mati lama dah gi rumah depa. Xpelah.Lagi terasa pagi raya nanti jumpa diaorg
